Precarious contracts: is it time to stop saying yes to lousy jobs?
Have you ever searched for a job just to find out most offers require five years of experience, fluency in three languages, working extra hours and at the end, it is an unpaid internship? When we find ourselves in these situations, we tend to forget we have a right not to accept those conditions. In an economy where the private sector practically expects young people to work for free, agree to self-employed or precarious contracts, what should we be doing to fight back such injustices? How can we ensure all young people have access to fair jobs?
